Printing and supported printers
Receipts, labels, A4 and Arabic.
What can print
- Receipts 58 mm and 80 mm in ESC/POS, with cash-drawer pulse and partial cut.
- Labels and barcodes in ZPL, TSPL, EPL and CPCL (203 and 300 dpi).
- Invoices A4 and A5 through your normal printer driver.
- Transports: USB, network, serial, Bluetooth, or the operating-system spooler. The OS-driver mode always works as a fallback.
Arabic that prints correctly
Most thermal printers cannot shape Arabic. Hanouti draws Arabic lines as a bitmap using the same fonts as the screen, so letters connect and numbers read correctly.
Honest status: no printer model has been tested on real hardware yet. The profiles come from the manufacturers' published command sets and are verified byte for byte by automated tests. A model becomes "verified" only after the test page is printed on the real device. Run the test page before you rely on a printer.
Test page checklist
Rulers fit the paper width, alignment and bold render, accents are correct, the Arabic line is connected, EAN-13, Code 128 and QR scan, the paper cuts and the drawer opens. For labels: size and gap are correct and there is no drift over 20 labels.

Printer quirks
Star printers may ship in Star Line mode: switch them to ESC/POS emulation. Some low-cost clones need chunked sending for large bitmaps, which the profiles handle. After changing label rolls, run the printer's own calibration once.
