Roles and permissions
Who can do what.
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including users, licence and backup |
| Manager | Everything except users, licence and backup |
| Cashier | Sell, hold, take payments, open and close the till, view documents, reprint |
| Stock keeper | Catalogue and stock, purchasing |
| Technician | Repair diagnosis, parts, status changes |
| Accountant | Read documents and reports (including margin), receive payments |
Permissions are granular (for example sales.discount.override, stock.adjust, documents.cancel, reports.view) and the owner can adjust the matrix. Cashiers sign in with a PIN and the screen locks when idle. A deputy cannot edit or promote an owner.
